Recycling technologies for thin and highly contaminated PE agricultural film

The recycling of agricultural film is a process that has been known for many years but it was generally limited to materials with little contamination and with higher average thickness.

The present interest is focused on the possibility to recycle feedstock of agricultural film entirely composed of mulching, stretch and wrap.

The recycling lines, designed to process these materials, with high ratio of surface/mass and high level of contamination, needs to foresee a high efficiency drying section and an integrated water treatment.
