The new and innovating Sorema de-labeling system
SOREMA a division of PREVIERO S.r.l., installed since 1976 hundreds of recycling systems processing every type of waste plastic and, thanks to this long experience, SOREMA is well recognized all over the world as one of the leading companies in term of recycling technologies and systems. The main prerogatives and keywords of any SOREMA technologies are Flexibility and Reliability.
In order to respond to the different requirements of the market, SOREMA recently studied and developed a new innovating system for the separation of the sleeve labels on PET bottles.
The SOREMA Delabeler (patented pending) is a de-labeling system allowing to remove sleeve labels in post consumer PET bottles recycling lines. The system is characterized by a very wide flexibility (it can easily be installed in any recycling lines processing among 600 kg/h and 12.000 kg/h), a low energy consumption as well as some very easy maintenance operations and affordable maintenance costs (as the needed spare parts could be easily recovered in any local markets).
A second application of this technology is in dry pretreatment of mixed bottles or rigid packaging. The SOREMA machine can easily open the materials and separate the contaminants from surface (as in case of sleeve labels) and the system can be associated to an aerodynamic separator obtaining an excellent and more efficient separation of the light from the bulky materials.
The SOREMA de-labeling system is the result of a long and deep R&D process that characterizes every SOREMA technologies and give them a precise recognizable “mark” in term of reliability and efficiency.
Actually, a long serial of industrial tests have been performed at SOREMA facilities on samples coming from Japan, US, Middle & Far East, and Europe. Then the first SOREMA de-labeling system has been installed beginning of this year on a US recycling plant and started full scale production.
With the aim of always giving the best and most performing recycling solutions to their customers, SOREMA will be promoting this innovation during the next K2013 exhibition in Dusseldorf where the Italian company will be present at hall 9 booths D41 & D55.
